Built For Hands-On Medical Education

Located at 1500 W. Higgins Road in Park Ridge, Illinois, SDI’s private facility provides surgeons, medical device companies, educators, and professional teams with dedicated space for surgical education, bioskills training, product evaluation, cadaveric testing, and collaborative meetings.

The approximately 1,800-square-foot facility includes two surgical wet labs and private meeting spaces—allowing education, discussion, and hands-on training to take place in one convenient location near Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

Our Facility

Our newly re-built, private facility is located less than five minutes from Chicago O’Hare International Airport in the former Big10 headquarters building. The 1800 square foot SDI facility features a large conference room, two roomy, well-lit surgical wet labs, common space for informal meetings and meals, and a changing area. The conference room can easily accommodate 12 people, while the wet labs have room for 4-5 work stations combined and a capacity of 15 or more individuals.

The facility is situated in the same building as the MERCI bioskills lab which is an 18,000 square foot, state-of-the-art bioskills training facility. The partnership between Surgical Design Innovations and MERCI provides us with unlimited options including cadaveric specimens and surgical equipment (including power and fluoroscopy).

Our facility rental provides your organization with a private, secure facility for small group surgical education, cadaveric testing, and sensitive IP development.
